Sakurai announces SGIA sales, expanded screen press coverage to Mexico & Central America

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL - Participating in its 25th SGIA exposition this year in Las Vegas, Sakurai announced a number of orders for Maestro Cylinder Screen Press Systems and an expansion of sales, service and parts coverage into Mexico and Central America.

"SGIA was a very good, selling show for Sakurai", said David Rose, National Sales Manager, Screen Press Systems, Sakurai USA, Inc. "Booth traffic was excellent throughout the three day run of the show, and we received multiple orders for Maestro Screen Press Systems in various sizes and configurations".

Following its U.S. debut at the Sakurai Open House and Vendor Tradefair in August, the highlight of the Sakurai exhibit was its new Maestro 102SD Servo Driven, optimal registration Cylinder Screen Press equipped with a Natgraph UV curing unit.  The revolutionary design of the 29½" x 43¼" Maestro is ideal for extremely accurate screen printing applications such as cosmetic packaging, membrane switches, integrated circuit applications and more.

"The Maestro Screen press and Natgraph curing unit system performed flawlessly, even under show conditions, in terms of registration and speed on 5 mil. material", added Rose. The Natgraph unit demonstrated its ability to cure high opaque inks while maintaining low stable temperatures on plastic substrates. And our 10 color Las Vegas themed poster running MacDermid Autotype plastics using Sun Chemical UV inks was a hit".

Sakurai USA has once again expanded its coverage area beyond North America to provide direct sales of Sakurai Screen Cylinder Presses, factory replacement parts and technical service support to Mexico and Central America. Sakurai recently announced a similar expansion of offset press sales, service and parts to these important countries.

"We are extremely pleased to now offer Sakurai sales, service and replacement parts coverage to both our sheetfed offset and screen press customers and prospects with direct and timely support from our Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois", said Greg Friesser, General Manager, Sakurai USA.

Sakurai offers a family of sheetfed offset and screen cylinder presses for every size and need. Fully automated Sakurai sheetfed offset presses are available in widths from 20" X 26" to 25" X 38" with coating and perfecting backed by an Experienced Dealer Network.  Ultra high precision Sakurai cylinder screen presses are available in sizes from 20½" X 28½" to 48" X 63".   Sakurai sheetfed offset and screen cylinder presses are distributed by Sakurai USA in North America, Mexico and Central America backed by responsive customer support, technical service, replacement parts and training.
