BCC Software to exhibit at ACUMS

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - BCC Software, a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL company and a leading developer of postal and data quality technology solutions that optimize client communications, will exhibit the company's latest innovations at the Association of College and University Mail Services Conference (ACUMS), hosted at the Radisson by the Rochester Institute of Technology on November 4th. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about BCC products and the productivity-boosting opportunities they bring.

Featured offerings at the show will include:

Mail Manager, BCC's signature mail preparation solution, USPS certified to deliver top encoding and presorting performance, and fully integrated to work with Basic or Full Service Intelligent Mail. Mail.dat, a premium option fully integrated with Mail Manager, allows for last-minute updates to Postal documents before they are submitted to the Postal Service.

Barcode Analysis Tools that ensure postal barcodes will meet increasing USPS barcode quality standards prior to mailings reaching the Post Office. The Mail Verifier Plus, BCC's desktop barcode analysis tool, can help mailers proactively spot-check barcode readability without compromising critical production deadlines. A Mail Verifier Plus unit will be available during the show, and attendees are invited to bring their own mailpieces to test the readability of their Intelligent Mail, POSTNET and PLANET codes, relative to mandatory USPS tolerance levels.

BCC Data Services, including unlimited NCOALink LSP and FSP change-of-address processing, Address Resolution Service, Suppression services and other list-enhancing resources available in a prepaid pricing program that lets users avoid minimum charges on smaller updating jobs.

"More and more colleges and universities are realizing the value of bringing mailing services in-house," says Chris Lien, BCC President. "At the same time, new and veteran collegiate mailers need to know their solutions providers are equipped to keep pace with the technology and regulatory shifts of the complex postal industry. BCC's track record of innovation and industry leadership makes us an ideal partner, and we're excited to have an opportunity to meet ACUMS attendees and discuss how we can help them meet their needs."
