RISO Canada to feature next generation of inkjet printing at Print World

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, MA - RISO Canada, Inc. will feature the next generation of inkjet printing with the RISO ComColor 9050 high-speed, full-colour inkjet printer and the MZ1090 two-colour, single-pass digital duplicator at Booth 417 during Print World 2010 at Exhibition Place in Toronto, November 20-22.

The ComColor 9050 is the world's fastest full-colour, sheet-fed inkjet printer. Engineered for commercial applications, the 9050 gives customers long-running reliability in mid- to high-volume printing environments with a realistic duty cycle of 500,000 prints per month.

"At speeds up to 150 pages per minute and full-colour running costs as low as three cents per page, the ComColor high-speed, full-colour inkjet printers are so fast, affordable, and dependable, customers have found great cost savings in direct mail, transactional documents, and many other commercial applications," says Todd Deluca, president and chief operating officer of RISO, Inc.

The MZ1090 digital duplicator boasts the world's fastest print speed for a two-color, single-pass digital duplicator, printing up to 150 pages per minute. It delivers true 600 dpi image quality, ledger size printing, a built-in GDI controller, and unmatched single-pass, two-color printing productivity.

"The MZ1090 continues RISO's tradition of offering high-quality and cost-effective solutions that help expand our customers' printing capabilities," states Deluca. "With its advanced workflow features and simplified colour separation processes, the MZ1090 will appeal to a wide variety of end users, including print service providers, in-plant print shops, religious organizations, and more."

In addition to the two printers showcased at Print World, RISO Canada will display unique security printing applications with embedded digital security pantographs. Sophisticated security features can be added to plain paper at very low cost using RISO high-speed inkjet printers and accessories. Show attendees are invited to visit Booth 417 and try their hands at decoding the embedded digital void pantographs on these documents.

Customers who schedule an appointment with a RISO representative in Booth 417 at Print World will also receive a free white paper, "Transactional Printing Understanding the opportunities and alternatives."
