Quebec, Canada – Dynagram, the industry leader in imposition solutions, announces the release of an upgrade to its flagship imposition product DynaStrip version 6.5. DynaStrip 6.5 continues to make imposition creation and editing more dynamic and productive. This includes updates of the document list, mark sets, and the addition of dynamic page sizes to the Layout Reflow feature that will reduce the number of imposition templates needed by our users.

The Layout Reflow Feature
Layout Reflow was introduced in DynaStrip 6.0. With this new feature, changes in marks, layout or run length to multi-sheet layouts are simple as a single click.  New to DynaStrip 6.5, we’ve taken “Reflow” to a new level adding in dynamic page trim sizes. With this addition, complete jobs can be as easy as open a template, import source documents and select the “Relfow” button. The entire job is then generated adjusting for number of pages, trim page size and any modifications to marks as required.

Layout and Mark Enhancements
With a focus on productivity, DynaStrip 6.5 adds several new features to make layout creation and editing more productive. This includes: a major update to the Document List allowing customers to quickly replace pages, or reorder documents and pages in the document manager, faster access to layout tools and marks through the revised Object Drop Menu, adjustments for all gutters in a job and the ability to apply multiple mark sets to a job making it easier mix more focused mark sets into more complex ones.

Other Enhancements
In addition to the above there are over 20 other enhancements in 6.5. This includes a major update to the Automation version allowing for jobs to automatically reset on a workflow by workflow basis making it more appealing for commercial print work. Enhancements to controls on various marks including fold marks, collation marks and trim marks. In addition, DynaStrip 6.5 has been enhanced on Mac OSX, increasing performance and shortening render times for on-screen proofing.

Availability and Upgrades
DynaStrip 6.5 is available immediately for download from the Dynagram website. Customers who purchased DynaStrip after July 16, 2010 can download and activate the upgrade at no charge. Customers with a valid Service Agreement or International Upgrade Agreement are also entitled to the upgrade at no charge.
