Aleyant Systems announces major upgrade to Pressero for same price

Press release from the issuing company

Wheaton, IL - Aleyant Systems, a leader in value-priced web-to-print solutions for the graphic communications industry, announces Pressero version 4, a major upgrade to its popular flagship product. Pressero is a turnkey, web-to-print solution that provides users with a powerful set of branded, online tools for placing and managing orders. The redesigned Pressero system uses a cloud-based XML open architecture, which provides customers and 3rd-party integrators with limitless birectional integration capabilities. The upgrade also features advanced search-engine optimization (SEO) to improve printers' online visibility. Additional product enhancements include new website skins for more design options, custom web addresses for customers' B2B storefronts, and full control over the website navigation menu for greater design flexibility. The Pressero upgrade will be unveiled at Graph Expo, Aleyant booth #341, Oct 2-6, 2010, at Chicago's McCormick Place.

"Pressero is fast becoming the primary choice companies seeking an affordable web-to-print system. The latest upgrade provides customers with some of the most powerful features in our price class," comments Greg Salzman, President of Aleyant Systems. "Our high retention rate signals to us that the feature set delivers what our clients need to succeed with their web-to-print endeavors."

Commercial print shops, brokers, copy shops, and in-plants use Pressero to generate and manage shopping cart-based, private-branded corporate (B2B) and retail (B2C) storefronts. Whether catalog- or item-based,  storefronts include custom or stock ordering, interactive pricing, estimating, file transfer, proofing, inventory tracking, shipping, payment, order approval, JDF, and MIS integration among other advanced workflow capabilities. Local languages, taxes, and currency are also supported.

Pressero is delivered in a hosted model at an affordable price of $995 for the basic system, with an ongoing maintenance fee of $295 per month. A basic implementation includes full use of the robust Pressero system and eDocBuilder, an easy-to-use, template-based, variable data application. eDocBuilder allows customers to quickly and easily customize, proof, and approve variable data documents directly from a web browser, and the system automatically sends an imposed, press-ready PDF file to the print service provider when the order is placed. This minimizes manual intervention and speeds variable data jobs to production. The intuitive interface allows fast order entry and a robust scripting language enables a variety of intelligent responses based on user input.
