WorkflowOne awarded new document management services agreement

Press release from the issuing company

Dayton, Ohio - WorkflowOne, a leading provider of print management, marketing and distribution services announced today that Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., the group purchasing unit of one of the largest healthcare alliances in the U.S., has agreed to a new contract with WorkflowOne to provide document management services at special pricing and terms to Premier's 2,400 member hospitals and nearly 70,000 other healthcare sites across the United States. The contract went into effect August 31, 2010.

WorkflowOne is a supplier to four of the top five healthcare group purchasing organizations in the U.S., representing more than 8,000 acute and non-acute care facilities. As the fastest growing brand in healthcare document management, WorkflowOne has increased sales to Premier members five-fold since 2004.

"No one is better prepared to help Premier members reduce costs and gain efficiencies across their entire print lifecycle than WorkflowOne," said Jeff Moder, healthcare vice president for the company.

In addition to document and print management, WorkflowOne provides analytical services and technology to help hospitals and IDNs manage their brand-related spend. These include a print lifecycle baseline assessment and output management analysis to assist with determining the optimal ways to produce, store and distribute documents. Recommendations cover the role of internal print shops, better ways to manage fleets of copiers and desktop printers and advice on migration to electronic medical records. The company also offers a web-based system to facilitate e-commerce, inventory management, digital asset management and reporting. The web-based Internet portal can be tailored to support any hospital's identity standards and organizational structure.

In June, the company was also selected as a winner of the Supplier Performance Award, presented by Premier, an honor that applauds the efforts of contracted suppliers to meet and exceed operational expectations.
