BÖWE BELL + HOWELL introduces new data services offering for small to mid-sized mailers

Press release from the issuing company

Wheeling, Ill. – BÖWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) today announced the availability of a new service offering that provides small to mid-sized mailers with access to the kind of sophisticated document and data-processing capabilities that are traditionally found only in high-volume production mailers.

"BBH Data Services is an economical option for smaller companies that want the benefits of an automated document factory, but that want to avoid capital investments or additional overhead," said Nick Kepf, BBH general manager and executive director of Business Continuity Production Services. "Creating a full-service data-processing environment is expensive, and smaller companies may not have the tools and skills to build or support a large IT infrastructure. We give them the benefit of having advanced processing capabilities without the expense of ownership."

Specific services now available include document composition and recomposition, production integrity, postal compliance, online archiving and electronic delivery. Applications are tailored to operational needs and support all major print file formats. "We can help customers optimize print data for processing on their mailing equipment, and provide expert design consultants to create high-impact documents," added Kepf. "And, using solutions from our postal solutions team, we help mailers comply with government and USPS requirements."

BBH Data Services has a world-class data-processing facility to provide customers with a protected environment that includes multiple Internet carriers, redundant power, fire-detection systems, the highest level of security available and 24x7 management.

BBH Services facilities have achieved multiple certifications and regulatory compliances, including ISO 9001:2008, HIPAA, SAS 70 and PCI-DSS.
