Press release from the issuing company

Atlanta, GA – Asahi Photoproducts-Asahi Kasei America announced that effective September 1, 2010, CORRECT TOUCH GRAPHIC ARTS, ALL PRINTING RESOURCES, Inc. and RBCOR, LLC will distribute Asahi’s new water washable photopolymer plate AWP in USA.

Asahi Photoproducts is a leading supplier of photopolymer printing plates to the flexographic printing industry focusing on providing high value added products and unique photopolymer technology for flexographic printing plates and systems.

“Asahi Photoproducts is an innovation leader in plate imaging technologies and is excited to partner with another two leading companies in the Flexo market. Both All Printing Resources and RBCOR’s reputations and extensive flexo market coverage will be an excellent complement to our valued distribution partner Correct Touch Graphic Arts and Asahi’s broad range of photopolymer products,” says Joseph Bauer, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Asahi.

“CT Graphic Arts is pleased to offer the new and environmentally friendly Asahi AWP water-wash flexo plate material to the entire U.S. Market.  CTGA is now ready for U.S. sales, service and distribution of the AWP plate material from one of our strategic warehouse locations.  We offer AWP plate material and AWP processing equipment in all format sizes, along with our excellent prepress, plate room and pressroom technical support,” says Scott Keran, President of Correct Touch Graphic Arts.

"We are excited about the ability to offer our customers Asahi's AWP water-wash plate technology solution. We have had many customers tell us they are searching for a product that prints more consistently than thermal, yet still allows for the making of plates in less than an hour without the use of solvents. The AWP plate answers these requirements and offers additional benefits in printability unique to this technology," says Dave Nieman, CEO of All Printing Resources.

"We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with Asahi.  We will be able to expand our product offerings and our customers will have the opportunity to utilize the unique capabilities of the new AWP-DEF plate to grow their business,” says Richard Bein, President of RBCOR, LLC.
