Jeffrey Hayzlett to keynote Graph Expo 2010 Virtual Preview Education Program

Reston, VA - Jeffrey Hayzlett, former CMO of Eastman Kodak, and the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), announced today that Hayzlett will keynote the special online GRAPH EXPO 2010: A Virtual Preview, with his presentation - titled "Trends and the Business of Business."  Leading an 'all star' line-up of top industry presenters, Hayzlett will share his unique perspective on where the graphic communications industry is headed now and what companies can do to stay ahead, based on examples from his best-selling book, "The Mirror Test: Is Your Business Really Breathing?"  The free to attendees online, virtual event will held August 19, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT, and preview just some of the technologies, products and education attendees will find on-site at the physical GRAPH EXPO show, coming October 3-6, 2010 to Chicago's McCormick Place.

GRAPH EXPO 2010: A Virtual Preview, sponsored by American Printer magazine, is an exciting interactive pre-show 'sneak peek' at what attendees will discover at the physical GRAPH EXPO show in October.  Featuring a sampling of the 400-plus exhibitors who will be in Chicago, the event will also host live chat opportunities with industry 'gurus' and other virtual preview attendees, plus educational sessions covering topics of interest to 11 key industry segments within the full spectrum of graphic communications professionals, from commercial and quick printers to book publishers, packaging printers and converters, mailing and fulfillment professionals, newspaper printers and publishers, creative service professionals and more. And, because GRAPH EXPO will host visitors not just from the English-speaking Americas and the Caribbean but also Mexico, Latin America and the Dominican Republic, visitors to GRAPH EXPO 2010: A Virtual Preview will have the option of participating in the online event in English or in Spanish.

- Dr. Harvey R. Levenson, head of Cal Poly's Graphic Communication Department, who will moderate two panel discussions with GRAPH EXPO seminar instructors on: "The 10 NEW Tactics Every Printer Must Know to GROW Now!" and "Best Practices for New Profit Opportunities;"

- Jim Hamilton, Group Director of InfoTrends' On Demand Printing & Publishing, Jetting Technology Opportunities and Wide Format Printing Consulting Service, who will reveal "New Directions in Digital Print;" and,

- An executive (to be named) from Eastman Kodak, who will share how printers can build a bridge to new profit opportunities with his presentation, "Strategy 2011: Keys to Becoming A Marketing Service Provider."

On the day of the Virtual Preview, August 19, registrants will visit a designated URL through their Web browser.  A video on the Jumbotron screen will welcome them and explain how to access the different areas of the online event, including the virtual Exhibit Hall; virtual Auditorium featuring six hot topic educational sessions; and the virtual Networking Lounge where attendees can continuously chat with peers, exhibitors and other industry experts from across the Americas throughout the event.  Attendees will also have access to loads of downloadable information about equipment, product and services from exhibitors across the virtual show floor.
