Thursday, July 22, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Freeport, OH – Niche publication printer, Freeport Press, has made a significant financial investment in a 24 unit perfect binding machine in a move that reinforces its dedication to the high quality magazine, catalogue and brochure market. Freeport Press, with the addition of this finishing equipment, will act as a "one stop shop" for US publishers and will provide a faster, more effective service.

Freeport Press, VP of Sales and Marketing, David Pilcher, said: "The addition of the Kolbus perfect binding line will assist us with binding quality and schedule control of our publisher's magazines. It will increase our production rate, and in turn provide a more cost effective service for our clients. This is the first of many significant investments in order to ensure the long term future of Freeport Press."

Freeport Press has been running the Kolbus for over ninety days with great success. This highly productive binding line produces perfect bound digest, magazine and tabloid products economically, with fast changeovers and easy operation. It's a great piece of equipment and complements the target market of Freeport Press whose business has grown nearly ten percent in this present difficult economy.
