Mitsubishi Tandem Perfector added at Colour Concepts and PartnerPrinting.com

Press release from the issuing company

Riverside, CA - When Colour Concepts, Inc. moves into its new, 124,000-square-foot headquarters in Riverside, Calif., in July, the printing company's latest offset press acquisition will be a focal point of the expansion. An eight-color Mitsubishi Diamond 3000TP with dual coaters will support the printer's goal of becoming the industry leader and nation's largest, full-service direct-to-trade wholesale printing organization.

Partner Printing services both the commercial and trade-only printing markets via its online business model. The PartnerPrinting.com Internet site's proprietary web-to-print technology allows customers to access more than $20 million worth of printing equipment direct from their computer. Clients' custom printing needs are met through an offline department.

The Diamond 3000TP, known as the Tandem Perfector, will be able to print and coat both sides of the sheet in one pass. The double-coater version of the Tandem Perfector features tower coaters before and after the Translink unit. Translink is a three-cylinder transfer system that passes backside printed sheets to the front-side units without flipping the sheets. The use of aqueous and ultraviolet coatings will add value to gang-run commercial printing ordered online by trade customers, as well as on custom projects and medium to large periodical, magazine, brochure and catalog print runs.
