GRAPH EXPO 2010 videos showcase value of exhibiting for industry vendors

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA - To showcase the value of exhibiting at GRAPH EXPO 2010, the year's largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas, the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) has produced a series of new videos highlighting GRAPH EXPO's many special show floor features. GRAPH EXPO 2010 will take place October 3 - 6, 2010, at Chicago's McCormick Place South.

"For graphic communications professionals, GRAPH EXPO is the commercial printing, publishing, package printing, mailing and transactional exposition for the Americas," said Ralph Nappi, GASC President. "What doesn't always get as much notice, however, is how important and valuable the show is for vendors, too. These online videos are our way of showcasing the key aspects of GRAPH EXPO that make it such an effective and productive venue for exhibitors."

The seven videos can be viewed on the GRAPH EXPO 2010 website, www.graphexpo.com (go to "Exhibiting," then "Show Floor Section and Features," or simply click on the "Media" tab from the GRAPH EXPO home page). There, industry vendors can watch a broad overview video about GRAPH EXPO that reveals just how it attracts a qualified buyer audience of thousands of graphic communications professionals who are eager to see and learn about the next generation of print from consultative exhibitors. The other videos spotlight each of the special on-the-show-floor sections at GRAPH EXPO including:
- Prepress/Software-Design, a bustling area on the show floor that encompasses everything from software applications and graphic design products and services to workflow management and CTP products
- Press/Finishing, the largest, most prominent and diverse section of the show floor, featuring the latest digital and offset printing technologies, as well as bindery and finishing equipment
- PackPrint, the show-within-a-show that devotes 17,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space to package printing, fastest-growing segment of the graphic communications industry
- Mailing & Fulfillment Center, industry-recognized as the largest mailing event anywhere, and, at 40,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, a one-stop destination for those interested in launching or automating their mailing operations
- News Print-the newspaper pavilion, a world debut for this unique new marketplace that is devoted exclusively to the needs of newspaper printers and publishers, sponsored by News & Tech magazine; and,
- GREENspace, offering 6,400 sq. ft. of eco-friendly products, industry experts and free education related to sustainability in graphic communications.

As an added incentive for demonstrating live running equipment, GASC has announced a special deal whereby it will pay unlimited machinery handling costs for GRAPH EXPO 2010 exhibitors. The GRAPH EXPO 2010 Exhibitor Machinery Handling Incentive covers:
- The unloading of machinery from inbound carriers at the show site and delivery to the booth
- One-time spotting at the time of unloading, and
- Freight movement from booth to dock and loading of machinery onto outbound carriers at the close of the show.

"The No. 1 reason graphic communications professionals attend GRAPH EXPO is to see and compare running equipment," said GASC President Nappi. "On the exhibitor end, more than 80% have said that showcasing running equipment in their booth has a positive effect on their sales process. This incentive therefore helps exhibitors to maximize their GRAPH EXPO booth investment, by reducing the cost of exhibiting at GRAPH EXPO while also making it more cost-effective to bring or add equipment to the show."

Recognized as the commercial printing, publishing, package printing, mailing and transactional exposition for the Americas, GRAPH EXPO 2010 themed, "The Next Generation of Print," has been designed to offer a customized show-going experience to a diverse spectrum of attendees.  The exhibition will offer the latest graphic communication technologies in live equipment demonstrations across the expansive show floor and education on the most in-demand products and profit-making opportunities.
