Thursday, April 15, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Dayton, Ohio — WorkflowOne, a leading provider of managed print and promotional marketing services, today announced continued expansion in Puerto Rico made possible through a teaming program with ALAS Technical Products, a local independent distributor who has been doing business on the island for over 45 years. As a result, ALAS’ customers can now take advantage of WorkflowOne’s broad portfolio of business forms and labels, print management, promotional products, commercial printing, marketing communications, distribution services and technology-enabled solutions as well as a Puerto Rican-based sales and support staff. In turn, WorkflowOne’s customer base will now include some of the largest healthcare, universities, financial services, consumer goods and food product brands in Puerto Rico.

“As I move towards retirement, WorkflowOne will allow me to take my customers into the 21st century,” said Oscar Alfonso, President of ALAS Technical Products. “They’ll be able to fully leverage the company’s Dual Network Advantage or WorkflowOneDNA™, made up of extensive insourced print production and distribution facilities as well as outsourced services from its certified trade partners.”

WorkflowOne has been doing business in Puerto Rico for over 12 years with local distribution facilities, sales and support staff located in Toa Baja. In addition, WorkflowOne’s staff and facility in Puerto Rico also services St. Thomas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

“By taking on ALAS’ accounts, we will be able to provide them with the latest technology, outstanding fulfillment and greater purchasing leverage,” said Michael Giachetti, Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Division, who manages the territory. “We can offer his clients all-around improved value while expanding our reach into Latin America. It’s a win-win for all parties.”
