Raw materials costs lead Papierfabrik Scheufelen to raise prices again

Press release from the issuing company

As of June 1, 2010, Papierfabrik Scheufelen is raising prices for all product brands of its coated woodfree paper range by at least 10 percent. For example, this is equivalent to a minimum increase of EUR 80.00 per tonne for BVS, the coated woodfree sheets brand from Scheufelen. Prices of coated woodfree paper in reels as well as the ExclusiveLine and TrendLine brands will be adjusted in the same way.

Despite extensive cost reduction measures it has not been possible to compensate for the dramatic costs situation, particularly for pulp. Therefore a price increase is unavoidable. This measure applies to all countries.
