Press release from the issuing company

Charlottesville, VA and Toronto, Canada - INTERQUEST, the leading market and technology research and consulting firm serving the digital printing and publishing industry-and Ryerson University, today announced they are partnering to deliver the first INTERQUEST Digital Printing Forum in Toronto on May 6.

"Building on the success of the digital printing seminars we conducted over the past three years in New York, Paris, and Montreal, we have decided to hold a similar event in Toronto", said Gilles Biscos, President of INTERQUEST. The forum is designed around recent INTERQUEST research into digital printing in the North American market. The event, which will be held at Ryerson University from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., will include two parts:
A Digital Printing & Multi-channel Communications seminar targeted at direct mail printers, marketing and communication professionals, as well as at transactional printing operations and digital printers will take place in the morning.

A Digital Book and Manual Printing seminar targeted at publishers, book printers, digital print providers, and other book market professionals will take place in the afternoon.

User and provider panels will follow the presentations of INTERQUEST market study results.

"Ryerson is very pleased to be able to work with INTERQUEST to bring the Digital Printing Forum to Toronto, and appropriately, to Ryerson University. The topics are timely and highly relevant to today's industry," said Ian Baitz, Chair of the School of Graphic Communications Management.

The 2010 Toronto Digital Printing Forum is sponsored by industry leaders-GMC, Hewlett-Packard, Infoprint Solutions, Océ, Pitney Bowes, RISO, Transcontinental, as well as Xerox-and is supported by the Direct Marketing Association of Toronto (DMAT), and the Book Publishers' Professional Association (BPPA).
