Monday, March 08, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Downers Grove, IL – Hess Print Solutions today announced an enhancement to their Co-Mail services offering.  As part of their strategic alliance relationship with ALG Logistics, Hess will provide customers with improved capabilities through the acquisition of two additional SIM co-mail lines.  This new equipment will provide Hess customers with opportunities for additional postal savings as well as greater flexibility and throughput.

"Our customers rely on Hess' full suite of mail and logistics solutions, including co-palletization, consolidation, drop-shipping, and presort services, to help mitigate postal increases and deliver cost savings that provide their businesses with a competitive advantage," said Bob Wheatley, Hess' Vice President of Sales.  "These two new co-mail lines will provide our customers with increased flexibility as well as greater savings and discounts."

The first new co-mail line, scheduled for a June 2010 installation, is a 36 pocket SIM co-mailer. The second co-mail line will be installed in fourth quarter of 2010.  The new equipment will support a wider range of fonts as well as increased poly-bag capabilities.

Hess Print Solutions ranks among the top 50 printers in the U.S., and has become one of the industry's most respected medium to high volume producers of B2B catalogs, books, magazines and directories.
