HipZone to license its Dynamic Reader 1.0 Mobile Phone product

Press release from the issuing company

Los Angeles, California – HipZone Inc., recently selected by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. to deliver globally sourced imaging production services, has been now selected to deliver magazine content optimized specifically for mobile phones, starting with a new application for Cycle World magazine.

"We have been very proud to be a part of HFM U.S.'s extraordinary success as they venture into the new world of content ubiquity: delivering their content to readers for advertisers anytime, anywhere" said Joe Cha, President of HipZone Inc. and former President of Quebecor World Premedia.  "This new technology takes a completely different tack away from traditional 'page flip' readers as it specifically optimizes size and delivery for the device, enhancing the users experience while requiring the publisher to do no extra work to leverage existing content."

Michael Esposito, Vice President, Operations, said HipZone Inc's leadership in the arena of new technologies and integrated production solutions will serve HFM U.S. well: "HipZone is a trusted partner in helping us launch and build a highly successful multimedia production platform, now including mobile. It delivers a high quality service for us with a total solutions offering we could not find from traditional vendors." Yaron Oren, HFM U.S. Director, Mobile Strategy and Operations, furthers "the HipZone venture is one of several key partnerships which will help HFM U.S. support its brands with apps that are both entertaining and informative for consumers as well as provide new revenue streams for the company."

The agreement comes on the heels of HFM U.S.'s decision to redesign its entire internal production process to streamline operations and deliver media at the lowest possible cost on virtually any platform.  Production now is a 24/7 operation with virtual nightshift production services sourced in China and India, delivering in print, online, on phone and ready for other upcoming media.
