Domtar announces appointment of Senior VP of Human Resources

MONTREAL - Domtar Corporation today announced the appointment of Melissa Anderson as Senior Vice-President of Human Resources (HR), effective January 25, 2010. In this capacity, she will be responsible for all human resources activities across the company, including labor relations and HR corporate functions. Ms. Anderson will be based in Fort Mill, SC, the Company's Operations Center.

Melissa Anderson was most recently Senior Vice-President, Human Resources and Government Relations, at The Pantry, Inc., an independently operated convenience store chain in the southeastern United States with 14,000 employees across 11 states and over $8 billion in annual revenues. Previously, she held increasingly senior management positions with International Business Machines (IBM) over the span of 17 years, including Vice-President of Human Resources, Global Financing segment, from 2003 to 2006.
