SpencerLab announces update to printer test suite

Melville, NY - The SpencerLab Digital Color Laboratory has announced the latest update, version 4.2, to the SpencerLab Printer Test Suite, in their ongoing commitment to providing users with a comprehensive tool for print quality analysis and printer benchmarking.

This update is available for immediate access at www.spencerlab.com/MySpencerLab at no charge to current licensees of the SpencerLab Printer Test Suite V4.1. As with version 4.1, this update of the Test Suite continues the refinement and expansion of this high-end, quality test tool for the digital printing industry.

Licensees of the SpencerLab Printer Test Suite will realize significant benefits with use of the 4.2 update. New features and enhancements in the latest version of the SpencerLab Printer Test Suite include:
- File updates, including color profiles and enhancements, such as increased PDF resolution
- Additional RGB and tabloid-size test files
- Additional Large Format test file sizes
- Drag-and-drop functionality in Mac OS environment
- Simplified usage, with automatic paper size call outs in PostScript files, reducing user interventions
- Customized licensee information

To celebrate the new update, SpencerLab is currently offering
a special, limited time discount opportunity of 20% off the 2010 annual subscription fee for current subscribers, and 20% for new licensees of the Test Suite, which includes one-year of tech support and free updates.

The SpencerLab Printer Test Suite, consisting of over three gigabytes of data, including 60 test files (in over 200 adaptations, printing over 400 pages), covers the full breadth of markets, including Consumer, Photographic, SMB/Office/Enterprise, Graphic Arts, and Large Format segments and is a printing industry standard for print and image quality analysis. Files include black-and-white and color; color-managed CMYK and RGB; PostScript, PDF, and applications; output sizes ranging from 4x6" through large format; and U.S. and international market sizes.
