Seattle, WA and Kempten, Germany - Integrated Collateral Management system developer Kuhnert GmbH has opened a worldwide sales office in the U.S., in response to the company's remarkable growth since drupa 2008. Headed by industry veteran Frank Devin, Kuhnert USA will focus on sales, development alliances and new market opportunities. The parent company will continue to develop its one2edit publishing engine for managing complex corporate collateral and related media products.
Devin expressed some of the challenges facing companies with marketing communication and brand management issues. "There are far too many manual, time-consuming tasks involved in producing brand-consistent print collateral on a large scale," he said. "one2edit has proven to be a huge benefit in automating this process - lowering costs and making brand managers more effective in securing new business."
one2edit, first introduced in 2003, is a Web-accessible system for managing, editing and producing branded print collateral and other support materials. Incorporating Adobe's InDesign Server and integrating enterprise-level Digital Asset Management and translation memory - together with its own intuitive user interface - one2edit offers large companies and their agencies control over the complex process of well-designed print collateral. For brand managers, designers, sales personnel and local franchise owners, the Web-enabled system provides a balanced approach for controlling costs and producing effective marketing materials.
Current one2edit customers include Intel, Henkel, 3M and Bosch. Kuhnert GmbH was the recipient of Adobe System's 2006 Innovation Partner Award. It was the first Adobe partner to successfully integrate InDesign Server with a browser-only Flex client, and with Adobe's rich Internet application environment, AIR.
