Toof Commercial Printing attains FSC certification

Press release from the issuing company

Memphis, TN -- Toof Commercial Printing announced recently that it had received Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification. FSC is the driving force for paper and printing companies seeking to conduct business in a more environmentally and socially responsible manner.

Through responsible forest management and chain of custody certification, FSC quarantees that paper used in the paper manufacturing and printing industries comes from certified forests and is tracked throughout the supply chain from forest to paper mill to printing plant.

"In past years, use of recycled paper has been the standard for environmental responsibility. The advent of forest sustainability standards, through carefully monitored business practices and chain of custody control, has taken the industries' efforts to a new more sophisticated and more sustainable level. Recycled paper can come from sources which do not actively practice long term forestry management or adhere to the stringent social responsibility standards required by FSC. FSC?certified paper assures our customers that they are doing everything possible to promote and sustain the environment."?said Stillman McFadden, President of Toof Commercial Printing.

Founded in 1864, Toof Commercial Printing is the oldest and largest commercial printing company in the Mid South. From its two Memphis based plants it produces a full line of web, sheetfed and direct mail products for customers located throughout the United States.
