All Star Sign Shop develops new revenue streams with Agfa Inkjet Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Las Vegas, NV (ISA, Booth #3953) - Agfa Graphics announced today that All-Star Sign Shop of Indian Trail, NC (USA) has been able to expand its business, create new revenue streams and turn projects around more quickly since purchasing and installing an :Anapurna M, UV-inkjet printing system. The company bought the system in March 2008 to add new services such as POP (point-of-purchase) for its customer base.

"I am offering my customers something that no other sign shop can: improved turnaround time at lower costs. This machine allows me to cut production time to a third. So I picked up significant productivity gains and labor savings with the :Anapurna M  and applied them to the bottom line margin," said Bryan Linville, owner, All Star Sign Shop.

Agfa's :Anapurna M is a wide format industrial six-color UV inkjet printer that produces highly saturated, vivid colors for indoor and outdoor signs and displays. With a print resolution of 720x1440 dpi, :Anapurna printers use UV curable, fast drying inks that print directly on coated and uncoated rigid media like foam board, cardboard, acrylic and metal in addition to roll media.

"All Star has become an indispensible resource for its customers, by offering a wide array of creative solutions that meets their needs. But most important All Star Sign Shop has effectively diversified their product offerings and as a result they created new profit streams. They are a shining example of how sign shops can be successful even during tough economic times," said Deborah Hutcheson, senior marketing manager, Digital Solutions, Agfa Graphics, North America."

Agfa's inkjet solutions can be seen at its booth (#3953) at the ISA's International Sign Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA).
