Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Press release from the issuing company

Sewickley, PA, February 23, 2007— The printing industry continues to reinvent itself to meet the challenges and demands of the future. In order to meet the demands of the industry, the Web Offset Association (WOA) and PIA/GATF have partnered to offer printers the premier conference of the industry—Offset and Beyond 07—bringing together the coldset, heatset, and sheetfed offset communities for the first time ever. This conference builds on the history of the WOA conference and adds the resources of PIA/GATF. This showcase event is scheduled for April 29–May 2, 2007 at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Canada. The program offers an array of targeted tracks covering business trends and opportunities, production and operations, and it will feature some of the most successful leaders in the industry. This premier event will bring the audience face-to-face with experts in the industry—global leaders and profit leaders who will share experiences, failures, and successes. Highlighting each day will be keynote presentations from world and industry renowned leaders. Some of the planned presenters are The Right Honorable Brian Mulroney, former Prime Minister of Canada and current board member of Quebecor World; Luc Desjardins, President & CEO, Transcontinental Inc.; Tony Gagliano, Executive Chairman and CEO, St. Joseph Communication; and Robert Danzig, former CEO, Hearst Newspaper. The host hotel for the conference is the Sheraton Centre located in the heart of downtown Toronto—mecca of shopping, theaters, world-class dining, night life, and other attractions. For more information regarding the conference, please contact Teresa Rees at (412)259-1804 or email trees@piagatf.org.
