Giffin Graphics to host biggest stand yet at Gulf Print

Press release from the issuing company

Giffin Graphics, the UAE printing industry stalwart, is planning its largest ever stand, totalling 539m2 and showcasing its collection of printing and binding supplies and equipment, at Gulf Print 2009.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary last year, Giffin is participating in Gulf Print for the 3rd time in 2009 in order to service its principle suppliers.

"Large trade exhibitions play an integral role in an industry such as ours as they provide a forum for us suppliers to showcase our products, which can sometimes be quite large and bulky and difficult to mobilise, to our customers in a single location," said Mr Najib Awad, Deputy General Manager – Sales for Giffin Graphics.

"We first participated in Gulf Print following requests from our principle suppliers who had noticed the increase of popularity of the exhibition. As a UAE headquartered company this region is our prime market and of course the Middle East is also of key importance to our principal suppliers."

At the previous edition of Gulf Print in 2007, Giffin exhibited a variety of equipment that it sold at special trade prices. In 2009, Giffin hopes to build on their 2007 success and meet with a variety of show visitors.

"We will be inviting all our customers, both current and potential, to visit us at Gulf Print. We would like to meet with visitors who are willing and ready to make decisions and finalise deals throughout the exhibition. In saying that, we also appreciate the opportunity provided by Gulf Print to meet with visitors who are curious and ask smart questions that can guide us in our future work," said Mr Alexandre Najem, Manager – Dubai & Northern Emirates Branches of Giffin Graphics.

Established in 1978 in Abu Dhabi, Giffin Graphics provides digital graphics systems, machinery, supplies and after sales service to printers throughout the region. They currently have branches in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and IMPZ – Dubai, and are the agent for KBA web machines in both Yemen and Jordan.

"Giffin Graphics was established in the very early days of what now constitutes the very healthy printing industry in the Middle East and they have played an extraordinarily important role in the development of the industry. For a business such as Giffin that has been in existence for such a significant amount of time, Gulf Print provides a wonderful opportunity to meet with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders across the region, and we are delighted that Giffin Graphics plays such an integral part of our event." said Sue Rothwell, Group Event Director, Fairs & Exhibitions, organisers of the Gulf Print & Pack exhibitions.

Gulf Print, run in conjunction with the Gulf Pack exhibition, will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai April 6 – 9, 2009. For further information seewww.gulfprint.info.
