Wednesday, July 08, 2009

Press release from the issuing company

Technique Group, a leading worldwide provider of Print MIS solutions to the graphic communications industry, today announced that Chris Wood has been appointed President of Technique Inc.  Prior to joining Technique, Chris held long-term VP Sales and Marketing positions at both DiMS! organizing print and Radius Solutions.
“We’re delighted to augment our US team with such a high caliber and respected member of the print community as Chris. His experience and skills are key to our aggressive North American growth strategy. Chris’s broad market knowledge will be a great asset to us as we continue to penetrate the print market” comments Group CEO, Paul Cooper. “I'm also delighted to announce the promotion of Mark Anderson, former COO of Technique Inc., to Group COO. Mark’s experience of product development, marketing and professional development have proven an asset to the entire group in the last two years and we welcome him to the group leadership team.”
“This is wonderful opportunity to join such a dynamic and rapidly growing company with such a comprehensive product offering. I have been very impressed with the speed of Technique's product development for new markets and their overall growth has been quite astounding. The amazing ease of use and intuitiveness of the products are quite unique within the Print MIS industry. Technique is a leader in the cold-set and heat-set web market and now those same innovative tools that they brought to newspaper and publication printing, have been augmented and finely honed for book, sheet-fed and digital printing.” said Chris Wood
