KBA sole exhibitor offering press demos at Pack Print

Press release from the issuing company

At the Pack Print trade fair in Tunis from 20 to 23 May KBA was the only exhibitor to offer press demonstrations. The four-colour B2 (29in) Performa 74 on its joint stand with Tunis-based agency KBA-Maghreb confirmed the wisdom of this move by attracting a stream of visitors from Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Senegal and Congo, who also expressed keen interest in a Genius 52 UV from KBA-Metronic.

The high-quality posters printed on the Performa were snapped up in no time. KBA’s sales activities in the Maghreb and neighbouring countries have enabled it to establish a firm foothold in this market.
At the fair a number of preliminary contracts were signed both with new customers and with existing ones looking for additional equipment. While the financing of some orders from Tunisian customers must still be clarified, the sizeable volume business is indicative of users’ satisfaction with KBA technology and the service provided by KBA-Maghreb.

After opening the exhibition Tunisia’s Minister for Industry, Afif Chalbi, visited the KBA stand on his official tour of the show. He was presented with an Arabic print compendium by its author, KBA Maghreb managing director Naceur Rezgui. KBA is collaborating closely with printers in the region to develop and expand the Maghreb markets still further.
