WAKE FOREST, N.C. (January 12, 2009) -- Southern Lithoplate, Inc., a leading manufacturer of digital and analog lithoplates, has demonstrated its strong and continuing commitment to the newspaper printing market by expanding its sales team. The Wake Forest, N.C.-based company announced the appointment of industry veteran Ted McGrew as a Strategic Accounts Manager.

"Ted will work with our established newspaper customers and our future customers, too, aided by our CtP Alliance strategic offerings to create new opportunities for newspaper printing companies," said Steve Mattingly, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Ted got his start in the graphic arts industry in 1986 with HPS Office Systems, an Indiana distributor of office equipment, imaging solutions and printing supplies. He headed HPS' newspaper division from 1988 through 1999. He consecutively held sales leadership positions with Heartland Imaging and Fujifilm USA.

For the past several years, Ted served as National Account Manager and Consumable Business Manager for Kodak.

"In every position Ted has held related to printing and prepress supplies, he has excelled at improving sales and customer satisfaction," said Mike Phillips, Southern Lithoplate Director News. "We are delighted he has chosen to join the Southern Lithoplate team."
