Thursday, May 07, 2009

Press release from the issuing company

Frankfurt am Main -- The iBrams brand management solution was awarded the distinction of being the best software in the “web-to-print” sector by the European Digital Press Association (EDP). This constitutes the third success for iBrams this year having already won the Adobe Innovation Award and the Convergators Award in the “Marketing and Crossmedia” category.

The EDP Award honors the best and most innovative digital products of the last 12 months, which surpass the competition in terms of their innovativeness, quality, value for money, and customer friendliness. The international association EDP consists of the leading European magazines in the digital press sector. The EDP members' publications are published in more than 15 countries and seven different languages and reach a readership of more than 240,000 experts. The EDP Awards' jury is made up of independent consultants, editors, engineers and select experts from throughout Europe.

“Three aspects have influenced the jury’s decision in favor of iBrams to a key extent: The consistent international focus of the solution due to the fact it supports no less than 16 languages, the interface is easy to use even for untrained staff and not least the impressive new models for layout adaption”, according to Manfred Diehl, EDP founding member and chief editor of the Desktop Dialog trade magazine. “The sum total of these led to an unusually unanimous verdict on the part of the jury.”

“The composition of the jury in particular made this prize so valuable for iBrams. The award demonstrates the international esteem for our solution that is successfully put into practice throughout the world”, according to Andreas Michalski, CEO of CDO Corporate Design Online. “The performance of our solution that has now been endorsed numerous times helps our customers in companies, agencies and working for service providers to structure their marketing processes more efficiently which is of particular importance in the current times.”
