Toyo Ink America to unveil exclusive value calculator at Print '09

Wednesday, September 09, 2009

Press release from the issuing company

ADDISON, Ill. - Toyo Ink has earned worldwide renown by providing printing companies with "value you can see." With the debut at Print '09 of the newly developed Toyo Value Calculator, the ink manufacturer will go a step further, adding value you can quantify to the equation.

To prove the Toyo Ink value proposition of superior performance and high quality-to-price characteristics, Toyo Ink America will give visitors to booth #4040 a useful tool for estimating the money they could save by switching to comparable Toyo inks from their current ink products.

The Toyo Value Calculator is an easy-to-operate computer application that facilitates direct comparisons between ink products under user-specified conditions. Users simply key in job parameters, such as sheet size, run length, ink coverage, job frequency and cost-per-pound of ink typically used for the job, and the Value Calculator does the rest.

"I think showgoers will be amazed when they actually calculate the benefits in dollar terms of printing with Toyo inks as opposed to using the competition's products," said John Copeland, president and chief operating officer of Toyo Ink America. "Pound-for-pound comparisons have shown Toyo inks able to deliver 20 percent to 30 percent more coverage, depending on the specific printing situation. That translates into significant cost savings and exceptional print results for users."

Print '09 attendees can access the Value Calculator from two computer terminals in the Toyo Ink America booth. Toyo Ink associates wearing "We'll Prove It!" buttons will be on hand to help booth visitors perform the value calculations.

For more information about the entire Toyo Ink product line, visit booth #4040 at Print '09, September 11-16 at Chicago's McCormick Place.
