Print CEO Forum to Feature Marketing Expert Bob Lieber

Press release from the issuing company

“How Unique is Your Business? Will You Differentiate … or Die?”

Lexington, Kentucky USA – WhatTheyThink, a leading media, market intelligence and research company for the printing and publishing industries, today provided additional details about its exclusive printer-only event, Print CEO Forum, which will be conducted at the prestigious University Club in Chicago on September 11th and 12th, 2009.

“We are delighted to have Bob Lieber, Founder and CEO of Original Thought LLC, as a keynote speaker at the Print CEO Forum,” said Randy Davidson, President of WhatTheyThink.  “Bob has more than 25 years in integrated marketing and marketing services, and is truly an original thinker and has created breakthrough marketing solutions for scores of successfully launched new products.  He will add depth and texture to the Forum discussion and offer a simple methodology for differentiating your company.”

The art of differentiation has been the secret to success in many industries, and Lieber believes that now is the time for print CEOs to take advantage of the same tools and opportunities that have proven successful and stood the test of time.

“In our session,” said Lieber, “we’ll look outside and inside the industry for guideposts and inspiration. We’ll find analogies from other industries to illuminate the power of differentiation.  We’ll review those who have figured out how to differentiate their business in a commodity category. We’ll also discuss companies who have thrived by developing a strategy to position their business for differentiation…and then driven that strategy throughout every aspect of their business. And we’ll share two simple tools to help any company create differentiation as well as a model for what we call a ‘Unifying Business Idea.’”

The goal of Lieber’s session is to leave attendees with a template to make the crucial strategic choices they need to differentiate their businesses going forward and a tool to arrive at their own Unifying Business Idea.

The Print CEO Forum will also include highlights of Print 09, North America’s largest printing trade show being held at Chicago’s McCormick Place through September 16th.  “By adding Print 09 highlights to the program,” added Randy Davidson, President of WhatTheyThink, “we will be assisting owners and managers of printing businesses in making their show visit more productive, especially in light of what they will have learned during the Forum.”

Attendance is limited to 150 senior printing executives.  More information about the event, including a complete agenda, can be found by visiting http://PrintCEOForum.com or by emailing [email protected].
