PRINTVALUE makes North American debut at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

(October 23, 2008) Earlier this year manroland rebranded and renewed its commitment to customers; customers worldwide who can attest that manroland knows how to support them.  This makes printers more productive and efficient, which is the backbone of the new PRINTVALUE program that makes its North American debut at Graph Expo (booth #1246).  The show runs October 26-29 at McCormick Place in Chicago, manroland's North American hometown.

PRINTVALUE is the centerpiece of what manroland expects to be a very active four days.  The company will host many free training seminars in the booth, designed to showcase all four service contract portfolios of printservices, printnet, printcom, and printadvice.  manroland once again will offer live press demonstrations each morning with its successful breakfast program, including free first-class transportation, at the Print Technology Center in nearby Westmont.  The company also continues its sponsorship of Dr. Joe Webb's annual industry forecast seminar on October 28.

"Understanding a printer's challenge is what PRINTVALUE stands for.  It is a comprehensive support program that is flexible and adaptive for any sheetfed, commercial web or newspaper environment," said Vince Lapinski, manroland CEO.  "The PRINTVALUE program offers across-the-board strategies that make any print operation more competitive.  In today's economic climate and in the future, you will need to reduce costs and increase press efficiency."

Many options and a justifiable investment

printservices is about predictability in maintenance, production and services     programs that currently supports printing companies in over 200 countries          nationwide.  If the unpredictable does happen, manroland is always ready with the answers.  One of the better known services is TelePresence, the company's 24/7 remote diagnostics press support connection.  It can ensure production uptime by solving the majority of mechanical, electronic and software problems over the  telephone.  Process analysis, training, upgrades, service contracts and spare parts are all integral segments of printservices, and a number of demonstrations and training sessions will be conducted in the booth each day.

printnet is the automated workflow solution that has earned the respect of over 2,000 sheetfed printers worldwide.  Customers are impressed with how it helps make their facilities run faster from start to finish as a result of system networking and integration.  The software program addresses the real world of production and eliminates workflow bottlenecks.  It also can be adapted to any print environment – sheetfed, commercial web or newspaper.

printcom makes consistency possible in any print operation.  The performance of consumables and supplies are critical to achieving and maintaining high production demands.  With tested and certified products and components that are press  compliant, printcom offers a huge advantage.  Everything from various lubricants, printing plates and prepress chemicals to blankets, sleeves, dampening solutions and other products can be found in pressrooms around the world.

printadvice emphasizes the value and importance of planning.  It is a               comprehensive consultancy portfolio designed to offer sustainable advice and     assistance to the planning process.  Geared for sheetfed and web customers, it    offers support with strategic planning, including long term investment decisions, sound ROI projections, energy conscious plant production design and more.
