John Roberts Company Wins Best of Show at PIM Awards

Minneapolis, MN May 06, 2008 --  The John Roberts Company, an industry leader in color management, enjoyed quite an eventful showing at the recent Printing Industry of Minnesota, Inc. (PIM) 2007 Star of Excellence Awards, by capturing the prestigious Best of Show Award for its Larson 2008 Sport Cruisers Catalog.

In recognition of its excellent craftsmanship, the 11" by 14", 52-page, 4-color boating catalog was a unanimous choice for the top honor in the state's trade association for printing, communication and graphic arts industry. The entry also won Best of Category for Catalogs, Best of Class in the Products/Service Catalogs (4+colors) and Best in Division for Product/Service Catalogs.

John Roberts took home a Best of Category (Packaging/Labels) and Best of Class (Cartons and Containers) for its cars.com Mobile Press CD Kit. The company also earned a Best of Class in the Product/Service Catalogs (cover) with its Medallion Dealer Dream Book.

Overall, John Roberts received two Best of Category, three Best of Class and one Best of Division Awards. A total of 277 entries were received in this year's competition, according to PIM.

"It was quite an exciting night for us," said Michael Keene, President of The John Roberts Company. "This was our best showing ever in this prominent event. We're proud of the awards we've received over the past year and the entries that were submitted."

The Best of Category award winners will automatically advance to PIA/GATF's Premier Print Awards in May. It's the graphic arts industry's largest and most renowned worldwide printing competition.
