(May 07, 2008) Day’s exhibit will be located in Hall 16 - Stand A21 Following the acquisition by Flint Group in 2007, Day will take its place on Flint Group’s stand B (Stand A being located in Hall 5 C38). Day provides premier consumables through its broad range of pressroom products and technical services, while our technical service and product portfolio provide a high value solution enabling today’s printer to achieve optimum cost efficiency and print quality by integrating consumables that are compatible and complementary.

Day and Flint Group Flexographic Products are demonstrating their commitment to the printing and packaging industry with high-performance products and services at stand A21 in Hall 16. Day International has added to its already excellent product portfolio (dayGraphica, davidM, Varn, NDI) with the acquisition of Duco and more recently HDP.

Duco has manufactured the Dunlop and Cow brands of offset blankets for over 75 years and sell to over 80 countries. Having pioneered many of the major advances in blanket development, Duco was the first to develop compressible structures using micro sphere technology, which the majority of blanket manufacturers have since adopted. HDP is an established manufacturer of pressroom chemicals.

The company’s global distribution covers 5 continents. It offers a full range of pressroom consumable products to their customer base including printing blankets, pressroom chemistry and press spare parts as well as an efficient waste management and collection scheme.

Day will be exhibiting its acclaimed ranges of image transfer products and pressroom chemicals - a product for every application. Recent technological developments have led to the creation of the new dayGraphica Sunday 5000 sleeve - designed in collaboration with Goss for its new 96 page S5000 offset press. The breakthrough Sunday 5000 sleeve is a gapless blanket that will print a 112” web width - a world first!

Following the recent acquisitions of Duco and HDP, Day will be promoting the Duco Headline blanket, which complements the existing Day newspaper blanket range (8395, 8897, 8899, and DuraZone 5500); and the HDP Envirofilter, which significantly increases the lifespan of dampening solution while reducing environmental waste.

Day will also be displaying many new developments from the Varn pressroom chemical division, including the new range of sheetfed founts developed to be OEM approved and provide state-of-the-art technological and environmental benefits to the sheetfed industry.

Rotec as part of Flint flexographic products will be exhibiting its full range of sleeve technology which incorporates; Rotec Sleeves (Blue Light Sleeve, Compressible Sleeve, Label Sleeve), Rotec Sleeve Specialities (Offset Sleeve, Ani Light Sleeve, Basic Sleeve), and Rotec Adaptors (Unifit Adaptor, Bridge Adaptor, Airo Adaptor, Atlas Adaptor, H/C Unifit Adaptor, H/C Bridge Adaptor, H/C
