Muscle Bound Bindery Wins Best of Class at PIM Awards

Press release from the issuing company

Minneapolis, MN April 28, 2008 -- Muscle Bound Bindery, a leading provider of bookbinding and finishing services, took home a Best of Class Award at the recent Printing Industry of Minnesota's (PIM) 2007 Star of Excellence Awards, the largest and most prestigious print competition in the state.

The winning entry for Muscle Bound in the "Other Specialty Finishing Touches" category was a hardcover children's book, "Red and Slim One Hot Day," that was folded, laminated and bound. The book features 44-page text that's side-sewn for strength and durability along with four-page front and back printed end sheets with cambric blind reinforcement. The cover wrap and dust jacket are film laminated with a matte scuff-free laminate on a smooth roller finish.

"We're happy and excited that we placed," said Mike Welsch, President of Muscle Bound Bindery. "It's nice to see a project that we worked on with the customer from conception to completion be recognized as the Best of Class. The author (Jeffrey Stamp) was happy with it as well."
