ActiPrint Installs Mitsubishi Diamond 1000LS

MEXICO CITY — March 20, 2008 -- ActiPrint S.A. de C.V., a full-service commercial sheetfed printer based in Mexico City, has expanded its color capabilities with the installation of a Mitsubishi Diamond 1000LS. The new press is a 20 x 28-inch model with five printing units. ActiPrint will use the Diamond 1000LS to enhance the quality and diversity of finished products.

ActiPrint produces an array of printed materials, such as flyers, brochures, booklets and promotional pieces. The company caters to a distinguished list of clients that includes financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers.

The Diamond 1000LS is the perfect fit for ActiPrint's printing needs. This flexible and efficient press combines short makeready, simplified operation and production speeds up to 15,000 sheets per hour. It is capable of producing high-caliber materials on stock from 0.0016 to 0.024 inches thick.

The ActiPrint prepress department is equipped with an eight-up computer-to-plate (CTP) recorder for digital output of lithoplates. The bindery features folders, cutters and staplers.
