HIFLEX MIS JDF certified by the CIP4 Organization

Press release from the issuing company

(August 19, 2008) HIFLEX MIS has been JDF certified as one of the very first Management Information Systems world-wide by the CIP4 Organization (International Cooperation for the Integration of the Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress Organization) and PIA/GATF (Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation) with certification completed on May 23, 2008.

This JDF certification includes the following categories: MIS to Prepress ICS (JDF 1.3 Level 2), MIS to Conventional Printing-Sheetfed ICS (JDF 1.3 Level 2), Base ICS (JDF 1.3 Level 2), JMF ICS (JDF 1.3 Level 2), MIS ICS (JDF 1.3 Level 3).

The basis for the certification program is the Interoperability Conformance Specification (ICS) Documentation that has been developed by the CIP4 technical working groups. Certified JDF-compatible software complies with the present guidelines for interoperability and receives the test mark "JDF certified" which includes an individual certification number.

The now realized JDF certification ascertains the perfect JDF communication capabilities between HIFLEX MIS and the connected JDF-capable systems of the different vendors.

Gary E. Marron, President of HIFLEX Corp. North America, comments: "The CIP4 JDF certification is important and validates HIFLEX's many years of experience with JDF Systems Integration and our proven track record with integration. HIFLEX is a forerunner in JDF integration and has more JDF installations than all the other MIS vendors combined."
