Grove Printing Buys a New Polar 78x

Press release from the issuing company

KENNESAW, Ga. – May 10, 2007 – Grove Printing in Kensington, Md. recently increased its efficiency with the purchase of a new POLAR 78X from Heidelberg. Owner Steve Braswell said his shop would normally cut six press sheets in 12 hours, but with the addition of the new POLAR cutter, it’s cutting 12 sheets in eight hours. “I love these cutters because they’re automated to make multiple cuts,” he said. Braswell bought the new POLAR to keep up with customer demand and provide a back-up cutter for the shop’s other POLAR 78X, which it purchased six years ago. Established in 1935, Grove Printing primarily uses the new cutter for entertainment postcards, including invitations, art gallery openings, club events and concerts that occur in glamorous cities like Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Miami and Las Vegas. Grove Printing has 13 employees.
