With over 1000 CTP installations worldwide and over 27,000 imagesetters in more than 50 countries around the globe, ECRM continues to demonstrate its dedication to the budget-conscious print service provider.”
MAKO 8 CTP
Breaking the price barrier for 8-up CTP, the MAKO 8 delivers commercial quality and press format flexibility for the product manager focused upon ROI. Integrating the world's most popular imaging technology, the new MAKO 8 brings high quality, cost-effective platesetting to commercial printers. With a maximum format of 32.4” x 45.0” (824 mm x 1143 mm) and production speeds of 20 8-page plates per hour, the MAKO 8 is engineered to keep multi-press environments efficient through flexible, fast and trouble-free operation. The system can also accommodate any plate size between 32.4” x 45.0” (824 mm x 1143 mm) and 10.0" x 10.0" (254 mm x 254 mm). The largest format provides generous space for 8-page jobs with all trim marks and color bars in position. The minimum format allows for most popular duplicator size presses.
MAKO 4matic CTP
The MAKO 4matic is an automated, full-featured 4-page CTP solution, developed for busy print shops where flexibility in production is essential. Accommodating the widest range of 2-,4-and 6-page presses, the 4matic has the ability to deliver in excess of 20 4-up plates per hour at 2540 dpi. And the MAKO 4matic can accommodate any plate size between 15.15" x 15.15" (385 mm x 385 mm) and 25.0" x 36.5" (635 mm x 927 mm). The largest format provides generous space for oversize jobs such as 6-page gatefolds, with all printers marks and color bars in position. Both cassette and pin bar can be changed in minutes to accommodate different plate sizes and/or press registration systems.
MAKO 36 Imagesetter
MAKO Imagesetters are the most versatile imagesetter for growing commercial printers, publishers and trade-service professionals. ECRM offers three different models of the MAKO imagesetter ranging in output width from 360 mm to 560 mm formats. Each high-quality imagesetter is field-upgradeable to larger formats and/or higher speeds, and offer maximum flexibility in media choice of film, polyester plate or paper. The MAKO 36 is an entry-level imagesetter, imaging at widths up to 360 mm in 2-up format, including color bars and printer's marks suitable for most B2 presses. The MAKO 36 imagesetter offers advanced imaging technology, including razor-sharp dots, accurate repeatability, and a choice of resolutions for job output up to 200-line screen. Manufactured to ISO 9001 standards, it delivers high levels of consistent reliability year after year.
