xpedx Introduces New, High-Brightness Digital Printing Paper, Vector Performance DI

Press release from the issuing company

LOVELAND, Ohio, September 13, 2007 -- xpedx has launched Vector Performance DI, a new coated printing paper designed for exceptional performance and high print quality in digital printing equipment.
The new paper has been extensively tested on toner- and ink-based digital presses and production-rated color copiers.  It is an expansion of the Vector private-label line of coated and uncoated papers, which is used by commercial printers, businesses and other high-volume printing operations.
"Performance in digital print engines, high-quality print and an affordable price-point were the three key considerations in creating this new product," said Scott Harman, Director of Marketing for Business Imaging at xpedx.
Available exclusively through xpedx, Vector Performance DI is stocked in a variety of sizes and weights.  It is precision mill sheeted, meets 7- and 9-point postal regulations and is fully guaranteed by xpedx.
The new paper is offered in gloss and matte finishes and is available in 80# and 100# text and cover weights.  It is manufactured specifically for digital presses and production-rated color copiers including those from Kodak, Xerox and HP Indigo.  The high-bright sheet contains 15% post-consumer waste fiber and it is RIT certified for digital toner and ink applications.
The Vector line also includes Vector Multipurpose, Vector Engineering Rolls, Vector Coated DI, computer forms and other papers.
