Press release from the issuing company

Boston, MA, Booth #647, March 4, 2007 – InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, today launched its suite of TransPromo solutions which will enable marketers to create transactional documents with added incremental value and significant response rate, through combining the latest in output and personalization technology with their existing IT infrastructure.

This comprises InfoPrint's AFP-enhanced InfoPrint 5000, InfoPrint ProcessDirector (IPPD), campaign management software from partner Prinova alongside other best-of-breed software offerings from Mapping, StreamServe and Exstream. This marries InfoPrint's strengths in document production, color and system integration with supporting software and design and engineering services.

The TransPromo suite is accompanied by the launch of the InfoPrint TransPromo Consulting Practice. The Practice offers customers the professional services required to enable the transition to a true TransPromo environment and consulting to ensure its ongoing success.

"TransPromo provides a unique opportunity to marketers who want to improve marketing ROI by increasing the response rates and revenue generated from marketing campaigns" said Sandra Zoratti, Vice President, Strategic Business Development for InfoPrint. "Combining our industry experience with proven technology and consulting services, a unique approach to TransPromo, means our customers can form lasting relationships with their own target audience. This is vital when trying to reach end users immune to the daily bombardment of multi-channel marketing messages."

TransPromo transforms printed transactional documents such as statements into high-value communications by incorporating relevant personalized marketing content to promote products, services, and ultimately, brand loyalty. It also presents a growing market opportunity for marketers, with industry analysts InfoTrends predicting that such output will grow from 1.6 billion pieces in 2006, to 21.7 billion in 2010, a huge growth rate of 91 percent.

Solutions Suite Combines Best of Breed Components
This new solution suite from InfoPrint provides the core components of a robust TransPromo infrastructure that can be tailored to match to an enterprise's specific requirements. The InfoPrint 5000 is a state-of-the-art full-color, continuous forms inkjet drop-on-demand printing system with high print quality, even at high speeds. With the InfoPrint 5000, businesses can use color to make TransPromo communications even more attention-grabbing and effective. Added to this, new InfoPrint 5000 models support the new AFP Color Management Architecture (CMA), designed to provide accurate and consistent color rendering.

InfoPrint's TransPromo software solutions comprise the InfoPrint ProcessDirector (IPPD), InfoPrint Manager (IPM), and software from selected partners which provides a scalable output management workflow system, optimization of database analytics, statement design and composition and direct marketing content from one, centralized suite.

Team member Prinova's messagepointTM manages campaign and message content, while also streamlining messaging workflow. This allows business users to easily plan, deliver and track campaigns through a single, web-based product. It sits alongside offerings from Mapping, StreamServe and Exstream.

TransPromo Services Practice Will Support Customers on TransPromo Journey
InfoPrint has established a global TransPromo Consulting Practice, which offers professional services that will assist in the assessment and analysis of current marketing campaign, data analytics and print infrastructures. It will also offer recommendations on steps to achieve an effective and efficient TransPromo environment.

Document production support will ensure that customers new to TransPromo implement the best fit solutions for their needs, and builds on InfoPrint's years of experience in the transactional print space and existing document composition offerings such as InfoPrint's Automated Document Factory (ADF).

"Madison Advisors' TransPromo Workflow market research indicates that deployment services represent the lion's share of the investment and effort in TransPromo solutions," said Kemal Carr, President of Madison Advisors. "To ensure success and mitigate risk with TransPromo solutions, it's critical that organizations partner with a market leader in this space – a provider that understands the issues and has a proven track record with deploying TransPromo solutions."
