Ramsey Press Talks about HIFLEX MIS

Friday, June 22, 2007

Press release from the issuing company

June 21, 2007 -- Ramsey Press in Mahwah, NJ is a mid-sized, woman-owned, commercial printer who considers themselves a 'boutique' printer. Patrick Pagani, managing partner of Ramsey Press says "We want to be the best printer we can be and leverage technology to take care of our customers". Patrick is proud of his plant and brags that "It's so clean in here, that you can eat off the floor" as he chuckles a bit with tongue-in-cheek. Ramsey Press runs a very, very clean and high quality shop with all modern and JDF capable equipment. Most of their visitors comment and can't believe it's a printing company as the facilities and atmosphere are quite different from what they are accustomed to seeing in a printer. Patrick looked at HIFLEX MIS as a solution to lower Ramsey's administrative costs so that he could continue to service Ramsey's customers like they always did: "one-customer-at-a-time". To Ramsey's tribute, they have gained a reputation of being a very high quality and very customer focused printer, in the tough NY/NJ metropolitan printing market.

Ramsey's President, Nicole Colon comments "At Ramsey Press, we always do our best customer support the old fashioned way, with people-to-people relationships. But as we have grown and become more successful, we established a need to automate our processes so that we could keep our good employees, who over the years have helped to make us successful and also be able to continue our growth trend but without adding people and additional labor costs".

"We were looking for a way to keep the culture alive that led to Ramsey's success and we found it in HIFLEX MIS. We are integrating our company so that we are now using JDF to connect our prepress, press and postpress operations, but bigger yet, we are flattening our infrastructure, process steps and lowering our administrative costs".

Pat closes in saying "the people at HIFLEX are truly committed to helping us get to a fully integrated solution where we will fulfil the dream of every printer: end-to-end integration. The support that HIFLEX has given us has also been phenomenal and has exceeded our expectations".
