(SCHAUMBURG, IL) Sakurai USA hosted a Demonstration Day for over 100 customers, dealers and guests at its North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL on January 23, 2007. The latest technology from both the Offset and Cylinder Screen Press Groups was featured, including the 23 5/8” x 31” Sakurai 575SDC 5-color with aqueous coater and the 28” x 40” Sakurai Maestro 102AII Cylinder Screen Press with UV Dryer/Stacker. Demonstrations consisted of offset printing a 5-color poster which received a UV application of metallic spot coating on the Cylinder Screen Press. During the festivities a Sales Award was presented to Sakurai’s dealer, Independent Graphic Services of Montgomery, Alabama for their achievement of the Highest Sales Volume in 2006. The award was presented to Dennis Spaeth and Wit Moorer by Don Bence, Vice President and Yoshikuni Sakurai, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Sakurai.
