United States Government Printing Office (GPO) to implement Avanti Print MIS System

2/6/07 -- Avanti Computer Systems, a provider of business management software for in-plant and commercial print shops is pleased to announce that the Washington, DC based Government Printing Office (GPO) has chosen to implement Avanti's Print MIS software to manage their printing operation. The U.S. Government Printing Office is the Federal Government's primary centralized resource for gathering, cataloging, producing, providing, authenticating, and preserving published U.S. Government information in all its forms. GPO is responsible for the production and distribution of hundreds of thousands of documents and information products and services to over 100 federal agencies within all three Branches of the Federal Government. It is one of the largest in-plant printing facilities in North America. "We are absolutely thrilled to be working with the GPO," says Patrick Bolan, president and CEO of Avanti Computer Systems.
