Ricoh Corporation Aligns With FabSoft to Create More Efficient Workflow for Customers

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Jan. 31 -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, and FabSoft, a leading developer of automation software, today announced FabSoft's participation in Ricoh's Technology Alliance Program. By working together, Ricoh and FabSoft allow users to create a more streamlined workflow and expand their maximum level of productivity. FabSoft has built a strong relationship with Ricoh by developing nine custom integrations designed for Ricoh's entire line of products over the past seven years. These integrated product offerings include automated document routing, as well as document capture and distribution to any Ricoh device. Scanned documents and print jobs can be intelligently delivered to Ricoh multifunction products (MFPs), fax systems, and DocumentMall and eCabinet solutions. FabSoft enhances and maximizes the utilization of Ricoh devices making the combination an attractive option for any business operation. Tag Doc and Modular Object Scanning Technology (MOST) are examples of FabSoft's products that seamlessly integrate with Ricoh products. When users print, they can immediately specify the destination of their documents to Ricoh hardware devices and software-based solutions. FabSoft's Tag Doc utilizes barcode tagging and the scanning utility of a Ricoh MFP to automatically distribute and archive documents to Ricoh devices. MOST is a state-of-the art scanning solution that integrates with Ricoh MFPs for effortless and convenient distribution of scanned documents. With MOST, users can input document routing information right from the MFP display screen. Additionally, MOST can be built upon and modified, allowing for the development of customized workflows to fit all of an organizations' needs.
