Press release from the issuing company

Englewood, NJ; January 12, 2007 -– United Graphic Systems, Inc., the Northeast Factory Direct Dealer for the ADAST line of high quality sheetfed offset presses, has expanded its territory to become the exclusive ADAST Factory Direct Dealer for the Eastern USA. This expansion broadens United Graphic Systems’ territory to include the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states along the eastern seaboard and enables United Graphic Systems to provide ADAST sales and service from Maine to Florida. United Graphic Systems provides a full range of sales and services for the entire ADAST line of affordable offset presses, as well as for InkPRO accessories, Maxima cutters and HighWater violet-laser Python CTP systems. One of three ADAST Factory Direct Dealers in the U.S., the company operates from headquarters two miles from the George Washington Bridge, strategically located close to interstate highways and major airports. Expansion Extends a Strong Reputation Built on Responsive Service Established in 1994, United Graphic Systems has built a strong reputation in its core market in the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut by satisfying customers with experienced sales, comprehensive service and responsive support. With the expansion, the company has extended its full range of services to the new territories. These services include 24/7 telephone technical support, overnight shipping of parts to any location in the service territory, plus a range of special services from preventive maintenance agreements to equipment reconditioning, machinery relocations and upgrades. “Market demand and acceptance for the new ADAST line of highly automated and affordable offset presses has been very strong, reinforcing our decision and that of ADAST to broaden United Graphic Systems’ sales area and extend our range of comprehensive support services to now include the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. markets,” says Ivo Heller, President, United Graphic Systems. United Graphic Systems offers all three ADAST lines of offset presses, each of which is engineered with the ADAST Automation Affordable feature set: -- ADAST 507 Series: 15 x 20-inch, 2-up format available in two-, four- and five-color configurations; -- ADAST 707 Series: 19-1/2 x 26-inch, 4-up format available in four- and five-color models; -- ADAST 807 Series: 20.5 x 29-inch, 4-up B2 format available in two-, four, five- and six-color configurations. The Automation Affordable package includes semi-automatic plate changers with Bacher registration and the ADAST CIP3/CIP4-compatible AdaControl computerized press console with flat touchscreen, ink and register control including plate cocking; as well as automatic blanket washers and automatic ink roller wash-up with auto-spray. “With ADAST’s Automation Affordable, even smaller shops can buy a new press that produces the short-run 4- and 5-color work the market demands and at the level of quality every printer needs to make money and grow their business,” Heller explains. “This strong reliance on automation promotes fast make-readies and overall productivity, enabling ADAST and United Graphic Systems’ customers to compete aggressively in the market for quality offset color work at run lengths from as few as 500 impressions.” ADAST’s optional accessories including easy-changeover perfecting and in-line aqueous coating equipped with hot and cold air knives, IR dryer and circulator increase productivity, reduce turnaround time and expand the scope of jobs that can be printed in a single pass, says Heller. United Graphic Systems can be reached by phone at (201) 871-0170, on the web at www.unitedgraphicsystems.com, or via email: [email protected].
