Domino Printing Sciences buys Easyprint A/S

Domino Printing Sciences plc is pleased to announce the acquisition of 100% of the equity in Easyprint A/S from Easyprint Holding ApS and Vald.Nielsen & Son Export A/S. Easyprint A/S, based in Karlslunde, Denmark specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of innovative thermal transfer overcoding (TTO) equipment. The value of net assets acquired is approximately DKr 2 million. Nigel Bond, Group Managing Director of Domino Printing Sciences plc commented, "We are pleased to welcome Easyprint A/S to Domino. Easyprint has a superior range of thermal transfer printing equipment which will be marketed globally through a combination of existing Easyprint distribution channels and Domino's own strong global sales and support network." "This purchase, together with the recently announced acquisition of Mectec Elektronik AB, further enhances Domino's range of coding and marking products, enabling us to better satisfy the requirements of our extensive global customer base. Combined sales of Mectec and Easyprint in the twelve months prior to acquisition are the equivalent of approximately £8m." He continued, "Both Easyprint and Mectec stood out as businesses which best support our objective of having a range of superior, highly-reliable industry-leading products. We are delighted that the management teams and employees of both companies are staying on with their respective businesses to help us realise the full potential of these acquisitions."
