KBA North America Inks Major Press Deals at Toronto's Print World 2006

KBA North America, a leading sheetfed offset press manufacturer based in Williston, Vt., closed sales deals on a number of leading Canadian printers at Print World 2006, a graphic arts trade show held November 18-20 in Toronto at the Direct Energy Centre. Press sales were finalized for: - Somerset Graphics, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, which purchased a Rapida 105 41-inch six-color plus coater - Seydaco Packaging Corp., a manufacturer of quality folded cartons located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, which purchased a KBA large format six-color press "We are pleased to announce these finalized contracts for KBA presses to these fine customers," says Michael Mugavero, KBA vice president of sales for the East Coast and Canada. "Print World 2006 has been a successful show in which we've been able to bring our wide variety of award-winning presses to customers who wish to differentiate themselves in the market." For 24 years, Somerset Graphics Co. Ltd. has been an innovative, quality and service oriented commercial printer to the corporate, agency and design communities. Printing formats to 40" are done on the premises. Somerset's in-house scanning and colour studio compliments its DTP processing. Seydaco Packaging Corp. is a 41-employee company located in a 55,000 sq ft facility for manufacturing and warehousing. In just a short period, Seydaco has become one of the biggest suppliers of critical high-quality graphics for leading manufacturers of cake, pie, pastry and pizza cartons nationwide. Through its network of distributors, Seydaco also supplies a complete range of its own proprietary preprinted food-safe cardboard products for the quick serve industry. PrintWorld 2006 focuses on the shorter-run printing needs of small, medium and even large printing companies, in-plants, and brokers. Print World expects to feature all major digital and inkjet printing vendors, and offset vendors showing presses 29" and smaller. This unique focus sets it apart from other graphic arts trade shows. The show occupies 125,000 sq. ft. in Canada's most modern trade show facility, Direct Energy Centre, Toronto in downtown Toronto. More than 10,000 visitors attended the last show and are expected again at Print World 2006.
