Press release from the issuing company

Oct. 25, 2006-- On the heels of two successful Print on Demand (POD) seminars in the Boston area, W.A. Wilde Company today announced that its next event will be held in Philadelphia. The 2nd annual POD event will take place on Wednesday, November 15th, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at the ACE Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, PA. Wilde is one of the nation's largest provider's of POD services. In the past 12 months, the company has printed nearly 100 million black and white and color POD impressions. The increasing use of POD, also known as Variable-Data Printing, on digital presses is creating a revolution in the marketing world. Quickly growing in popularity, this technology allows companies to tweak its print communications into a wide variety of versions, helping them to better target customers than perhaps any other marketing vehicle in history. Earlier this year, Wilde hosted a POD seminar that provided marketers with ways to create more powerful, customized direct marketing campaigns to dramatically improve customer response rates. At this "Breakfast with the Experts", marketing experts Margaret Coughlin, Jeff Doyle and Jim Hackett will discuss how Philadelphia area businesses can create effective strategies for using POD as a means of increasing response, building brand, and boosting loyalty, as well as how POD can dramatically decrease print and inventory costs. Case studies illustrating POD in action with details on the outcome and potential applications will also be discussed at the seminar. The event leaders will also review common POD design pitfalls and how to avoid them. "Our clients who've added a POD element to their marketing programs have found it to be one of the most powerful ways to customize campaigns they've ever used. This seminar takes the knowledge we've gained in these campaigns and explains how POD can work for other companies, too," said Wilde president and chief executive officer Tom A. Wilde. "As we look to expand our business in the U.S., Philadelphia will be the first of several cities where we plan on holding seminars in the coming months." Coughlin has more than two decades of business marketing experience consulting with well known companies such as P&G, Gillette, BBDO, Hill Holiday Advertising, Credit Suisse, Ocean Spray, Hasbro, British Telecom and MCI. With over a decade of document creation experience, Doyle has designed and re-engineered printing and mailing applications for numerous Fortune 1,000 companies. Hackett brings over thirty years experience as a direct marketing practitioner, working with companies such as Sears, First Data Resources and Capitol One. He was awarded the world's first international ECHO Award for a website and has served as an officer for various marketing associations.
