Jeco RFID-Ready Pallets Receive Worth-a-Look! Award at Graph Expo 2006

Press release from the issuing company

Plainfield, Indiana, USA; October 2006 -- Jeco RFID-Ready Pallets received the prestigious Worth-a-Look! award at Graph Expo 2006. Manufactured by Jeco Plastic Products—designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers for the worldwide printing and automotive industries since 1973—the pallets facilitate RFID tagging by accommodating a variety of tag types. Jeco Plastic Products can facilitate permanent RFID tagging by molding passive RFID tags directly into Jeco RFID-Ready pallets. Warehouses using active RFID technologies can utilize Jeco RFID-Ready pallets which include a slot designed specifically to accept a tag. Because Jeco pallets are rotationally molded of linear low density polyethylene, RFID slots can be designed and formed to accept and protect costly RFID tags in any number of ways. The RFID tag slots in Jeco pallets can be oriented in the mold to maximize readability and to protect the tag from damage associated with specific warehousing issues. In announcing the award, Jeco Vice President Ann Carson commented: “Jeco RFID-Ready Pallets permit printers and converters, as well as their customers, to utilize the latest technology for identifying printed products and raw materials in the warehouse environment. Jeco Plastic Products is proud to be the only pallet manufacturer to receive this award. Presentation of the MustSee’em! and Worth-a-Look! awards is one of the highlights of the annual Executive Outlook conference which immediately precedes Graph Expo and PRINT shows. All exhibitors are eligible for consideration and encouraged to submit applications with their product information for nomination. Of 108 companies selected for further consideration, Jeco Plastic Products was one of a handful recognized for offering show attendees innovative products.”
