J.B. Kenehan Printing and Communication Services has added a second Goss web press at its Waukesha, Wisconsin facility. The new 16-page M-500 press system includes a JF-40 folder. Goss International also supplied a Contiweb splicer, Ecotherm dryer and Omnicon press controls. “Our specialty is making it happen for our customers, and that means being versatile and ready to deliver at a moments notice,” explains Jay Kenehan, president. “The M-500 press gives us the right combination of agility, print quality and added web offset capacity.” Wisconsin Governor, Jim Doyle, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to start up the Goss press. He praised the company for continued investment in state-of-the-art technology and job growth in the state. Addition of the new press is expected to result in 36 new jobs at J.B. Kenehan and an increase in annual revenues of $5-6 million. J.B. Kenehan prints a wide range of commercial products, including catalogs, magazines, brochures, calendars, travel literature, cookbooks and music lesson books. The new M-500 press complements its existing Goss M-130 web press, giving the company the ability to produce standard 4-, 8-, and 16-page signatures as well as digest forms and 4-, 8-, or 12-page tabloids.
